I was under the impression that no one visited this site, after all, I don’t advertise it and it’s really just a place for me to vent and rant about various things. But it seems, I did have at least one visitor recently.

A friend posted a link to this blog post on Facebook and I thought it was so good that I translated it from French to English and posted it here.

My one and only visitor turned out to be the original author, Jonathan. He didn’t like the fact that I had reblogged his work. I thought I was safe under the “fair use” category of copyright, but it turns out that I was wrong. A translation is a derivation of the original work, and thus covered by copyright. Whoops.

Jonathan, being the nice guy he is, suggested that if I remove it from my site, he’ll add it to his, and thus copyright infringement avoided.
